Resume - the use of keywords

Note:
Resumes are scanned by a computer to check for keywords and phrases. The summary is scanned and the body (industrial experience) is scanned to verify keywords and phrases and if it passes the computer screen, then someone may read it. Most of the resumes are rejected before someone sees them. Then someone checks the resume and may schedule an interview. The resumes purpose is to get the interview and gives the interviewer some guidance to questions at the interview.
The importance of keywords in the resume cannot be over emphasised. They get the resume noticed and passed the computer screening. If the job listing has any words not recognized, be sure to check them before any interview. I listed several that were job particular:
   VFD, PLCs and PIDs, CMMS
VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) are motor controls that make fixed AC speed motors "variable speed motors",
PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller) is an electronic device or computer that controls production or facilities (building and grounds) equipment.
PIDs (Proportional–Integral–Derivative controller) is an electronic device or computer that controls production equipment normally associated with temperature.
CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) is a computer program that usually drives the PM (Preventative Maintenance) program, or puts out the PM to be accomplished on daily, weekly , quarterly or annual basis. Also keeps track of inventory, equipment, warranty information, vendors, repair information and other related information.
